Hello fellow bloggers,

Today I will be talking about onomatopoeia. Onomatopoeia is a word about a sound. We had to write a story with onomatopoeia. We also had to watch a video about a race and write about what we can hear.

Here is my short story

Once the race began I heard a lot of rapid loud tapping. An immense swoosh went by. The commentators' voices loomed above us. The audience started encouraging
“ You can do it! “ Someone from the audience shouted
“ You got this! “ Another person shouted
“ GOOO! “ Another one of the audience members yelled out

The audience kept chattering about who would win the race. I tried my best to keep up with the runners. After the race ended the audience started clapping for the winner.

I hope you liked my story. Stay safe. Bye!
