Kyoto

For the around the world task we had to research about a country and make poster about it. I chose Kyoto for my one.

Kyoto is considered the cultural capital of Japan, it is also a major tourist destination. Kyoto is also the home of numerous Buddhist temples, Shinto shrines, palaces and gardens. Kyoto has many temples and shrines like Fushimi Inari Taisha ( Shrine ) , Kiyomizu-dera ( Temple ) and etc. The population of Kyoto is around 1.475 million people.

Movement in Space

Movement in Space

For drama we had to learn how to use movement and space while acting a scene with a group. Space means what space you use, like center, upstage, downstage, stage left and etc. There is also levels in space high, low and medium.

Movement is moving as part of a group. Pathways: the pattern of movement you create in the space, e.g: Magic Mover- curved, straight or zig-zag pathways.

The space we used was the center of the stage for our act
